Terms of use

By using ClickTug you agree to these terms. They are short because the site does very little: it publishes information and links to other people’s services.

1. You must be 18 or older

ClickTug describes AI tools intended for adults. By using this site you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

This site hosts no explicit images or video. Listings use vendor logos and interface screenshots only.

2. What a listing is

A listing is a factual description of a third-party product, written by us, checked against that vendor’s own published pages on the date shown on the listing, together with our own opinion clearly marked as an opinion.

It is not an endorsement. We list products we would not personally use, because a directory that only lists what its author likes is a preference, not a directory.

It is not a guarantee of accuracy at the moment you read it. Pricing, policies and features in this category change within weeks. The verification date on every listing exists so you can judge how stale a fact might be, and it is the reason we put it above the fold rather than in a footer. Check anything that matters against the vendor’s own site before you pay for it.

It is not written or approved by the vendor. Vendors can correct a factual error at any time and we act on those quickly. They cannot edit our verdicts.

3. Third-party services

Every tool listed here is operated by somebody else. When you click through, you leave this site and that operator’s terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.

We are not a party to your relationship with them. We do not process your payments, hold your account, or have any ability to intervene in a dispute between you and a vendor.

4. Click figures

Where a listing shows how many people clicked through to a tool, that figure is produced by our own measurement, using the rules published on our methodology page.

Those figures are a floor, not a ceiling. Clicks we cannot count, including from visitors with JavaScript disabled, are not counted, and we never estimate to fill a gap. Every published figure carries the date range it covers.

5. What we do not permit

Do not use this site to:

• scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people. There is a machine-readable feed precisely so you do not have to;
• republish our editorial verdicts, strengths, limitations or click figures as your own. Factual fields in the feed may be reused with attribution;
• attempt to interfere with our click measurement, including by generating events you did not make. Such events are excluded when detected and the account of them is published;
• submit a product that falls within the categories set out in our content policy.

6. Content policy

Our content policy forms part of these terms. It sets out what ClickTug lists and what it refuses permanently, and the refusals it describes are enforced by our software rather than by our discretion.

If you believe a listing crosses that boundary, report it. If a listing concerns you personally, use the removal request page.

7. Availability

This site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be available, that a listed vendor will still exist tomorrow, or that any fact on it is current at the moment you read it.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from any product listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes are published on this page with a new effective date.
