Report a listing

Last updated 7 Aug 2026

Every listing on ClickTug carries a date and a claim that a person checked it. This page exists because those checks go stale, and because we would rather hear about it from you than leave a wrong number on the page.

Write to hello@clicktug.com with the listing URL and what is wrong. There is no form to fill in.

What is worth reporting

A wrong or stale price. Pricing in this category moves within weeks. A tier that no longer exists, a price that went up, a free tier that quietly disappeared: all worth telling us about.

A wrong policy description. We record what each vendor says about retention, training on your content, deletion and content restrictions, with a link to the page we read it from. If a vendor changed their policy, our page is now wrong and the link is the evidence.

A capability change. This is the important one. If a listed tool has added a capability we exclude, we want to know today rather than at its next scheduled recheck. See our content policy for what we exclude.

A dead or redirected link. Including a vendor that has shut down. A directory full of links to nothing is worse than a smaller directory.

Anything that reads as an advertisement. We write our own listings. If one reads like vendor copy, something has gone wrong at our end and we would like to know.

What happens next

We check the claim against the vendor’s own published pages, because that is the same standard we hold ourselves to when we write a listing in the first place. Then one of three things happens:

  • The listing is corrected and its verification date is updated to today.
  • The listing is removed, if the tool now falls outside what we cover, has shut down, or cannot be verified any more.
  • Nothing changes, if the claim does not hold up. We will tell you that and show you what we checked.

Reports alleging an excluded capability are treated differently: we act first and verify afterwards. Being briefly wrong about a listing costs us a listing. Being briefly wrong in the other direction costs somebody else a great deal more.

If this concerns you personally

Use the removal request page instead. It goes to a separate address that a person reads, and it is handled on a faster clock.

If you operate the tool

Tell us who you are and we will prioritise it. Corrections from the vendor about their own product are the fastest kind for us to verify, and we would rather have an accurate listing than win an argument about it. We will not ask you to buy anything to have a factual error fixed, and we never have.

Frequently asked questions

The price on a listing is wrong. Does that matter?

It matters a lot. A verification date next to a wrong number is worse than no number at all, because it claims we checked. Pricing in this category changes within weeks, so a report about a stale price is one of the most useful things anyone sends us.

Do you remove a listing every time somebody reports it?

No, and a directory that did would be trivially easy for a competitor to weaponise. We check the claim against the vendor's own pages. What we do act on immediately is anything alleging a capability we exclude, because the cost of being wrong in that direction is far higher.

Can I report a tool that is not listed?

Yes. If a tool that should not exist on this site is not on it, there is nothing for us to remove, but if you think we are about to list something we should not, tell us and we will note it before a submission arrives.
